New Year – New Slate!

With 2023 getting into full swing, how will you make this year count? On behalf of the GAPNA Nominating Committee, I welcome and encourage all members in good standing to submit their name or their colleague’s name for the 2023-2024 Board of Directors positions, including president-elect, director at large, treasurer, and nominating committee.
Taking the leap into board service on the national level may sound intimidating, but here are several reasons to serve on the GAPNA board:
- Expand your professional development.
- Enhance your leadership skills.
- Drive positive change by assisting in the creation of GAPNA position statements.
- Bring diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.
- Promote excellence in the organization.
- Grow your network.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization.

What better way to get your feet wet than giving back to an organization that supports your patient population and career goals?
Nominations run from March 1 to March 31, with elections in May. The Nominating Committee looks forward to discussing these positions with you!
