Dementia Care Specialists Curriculum Planned

The Planning Committee for the “Dementia Care Specialists (DCS) Curriculum” met April 8-10, 2022, at the GAPNA National Office in Pitman, NJ.
The Planning Committee worked as a team to meet three goals: evaluation of the Dementia Care Specialists Clinical Skills Training workshop’s learning outcome and recommendations for revisions, development of a 2-hour session on dementia care for the GAPNA 2022 Annual Conference (“Next Level Dementia Care – Complex Cases and Comprehensive Approaches”), and development of abstracts for presentation at other professional conferences on the topic.
