GAPNA Foundation Grants 2021

The GAPNA Foundation is pleased to announce that 2021 grants are open for applications. We would really like competitive applications for the grants, so if you are interested, we encourage you to apply.
Available grants include:
GAPNA Foundation Award ($2,000)
This award focuses on improving care for older adults.
GAPNA Foundation Research/Clinical Project Grant Awards ($2,000/each) The Research/Clinical Project Grants fund a proposed research project and a clinical project that focuses on new evidence to examine and provide support for decision-making in clinical practice. The research should be outcomes based and designed to measure and improve health outcomes for older adults.
Virginia Lee Cora Research Grant ($2,000)
This new grant was established in memoriam to Dr. Virginia Lee Cora, one of the founding members of the GAPNA Foundation. The research for this grant should focus on APRNs working with older adults and their families.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be a current GAPNA member. If you are not a current member, you may include a GAPNA membership application and fee with the grant application.
- Members may apply for more than one grant.
- Each award is limited to one per person per year.
Grant Requirements
- Each grant is time limited and must be used during the 12 months following award.
- Grant funds must be used strictly for expenses related to the proposed research. No indirect expenses will be covered.
Applications for these grants can be found in the Foundation section, and all submissions are due by May 15, 2021. Winners will be announced during the Awards Luncheon at the GAPNA Annual Conference.
