Purpose: Solicits, reviews, and announces the annual GAPNA Excellence Awards each year.
Goals: Maintain integrity of awards process. Obtain and accept award nominations in every award category. Review awards criteria and relevance on an annual basis. Create, reduce, and adjust awards as needed based on committee and Executive Board collaboration.
Progress & Achievements: In 2022 the committee added diversity, equity, and inclusion criterion to all current awards and created criteria for the new Innovative Project Award.

Meeting Information: Monthly conference calls from January – June, during Awards season.
Additional Ways to Contribute: Submit your application for an award or nominate a colleague during the nomination period (March 1 - June 1).
